Frequently Asked Questions
Max Plan Managers
When your NDIS funding is plan managed, it entails having an NDIS-registered plan management provider (such as Max Plan Manager) administering your funding. We take care of managing your budget, handling payments, and keeping track of receipts on your behalf. We pay your bills and store your receipts so you don't have to bother about claiming payments or archiving receipts through the NDIS MyPlace Portal. Having a plan manager also allows you to use service providers who are either NDIS registered or not.
No. You will incur no out-of-pocket expenses as a result of having your plan managed.
When you request that your plan be managed at your planning meeting, the NDIA Planner or LAC will include an Improved Life Choices budget in addition to your existing budgets. This covers the initial one-time price (per plan) for setting you up in our system and on the NDIS site, as well as support when you transition to plan administration, as well as our flat monthly rates.

We welcome your existing service provider choices, and our process is designed to be seamless. We are flexible and can work with almost any supplier, provided they have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and the product or service they offer aligns with the NDIA's definition of being "reasonable and necessary" for your needs.

Every plan manager offering financial administration services must be officially registered with the NDIS. Your providers send us their invoices, which we pay on your behalf, and our budget coaches assist you in managing your money and discussing what you would wish to buy. If you choose plan management, your NDIS planner will manage your finances, allowing us to claim for services on your behalf and directly pay your service providers.
